Position Summary:

The Sr Manager Direct Marketing supports and manages the Email and SMS programs, optimizes program performance through testing and takes the Wallet Pass program to the next level. This position will collaborate cross-departmentally to optimize the current Direct Marketing ecosystem for live events. This role supports overarching business goals of maintaining high engagement and retention from new and long-term customers along their journey through intuitive and innovative communications.

Essential Functions:

  • Strategize on Wallet Pass program goals, execute set up including wallet creation and distribution journeys, and manage codeReadr services and database to expand and improve the Wallet Pass program.
  • Discovery and execution on Wallet Pass program to monetize through venue POS integration.
  • Participate in strategic planning and testing to optimize existing Email and SMS campaigns and flows.
  • Oversee execution of Wallet Pass communications (Email, SMS, Push) to clearly communicate offers and increase show-day participation.
  • Collaborate with Customer Experience Team and manage technical wallet pass questions to ensure best fan experience.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any Email or SMS issues.
  • Work on new Email template, sender profile requests, and new SMS short code requests to build brand value for regional BUs, touring branches, and festivals.
  • Monitor and report on Email, SMS, Wallet Pass program performance.
  • Document and communicate with team on program updates such as best practice, compliance regulations and product processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) in related field
  • 5-7 years of experience working in enterprise level Email and SMS providers, Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Vibes are plus
  • Experience with Email HTML, AMPScript and troubleshooting CSS for email.
  • Project management experience (working in Confluence, Jira or similar tool).
  • Knowledge of Wallet Passes (mobile tickets, loyalty cards, coupons, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of SQL.
  • Possesses strong reporting acumen with advanced Excel background.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, curious, strategic, organized and detailed.
  • Must have strong work ethic, problem solving and prioritization skills.
  • Must be able to manage and delegate to team members.
  • Be assertive and speak up regarding requirements, ensure team bandwidth and capabilities are clearly represented and maintain expectations with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to do discovery and reach out to third party vendors.
  • Knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the music industry a plus.

Pay Scale: $72,138-$109,301
