Six of World’s Top Twenty One Arenas are Affiliated with AEG Facilities

LOS ANGELES, CA (April 10, 2015) – AEG Facilities once again dominated Pollstar’s 2015 first quarter rankings, accounting for four of the top 10 venues worldwide, with 27% of ticket sales in the Top 5, 40% in the Top 10, and 31% in the Top 40 arenas, based on concert and show ticket sales. In total, AEG Facilities accounted for more than 2.1 million tickets sold in the first quarter of 2015, accumulated from venues across three continents. Twenty venues owned, operated or affiliated with AEG Facilities were named in the list of the top 100 arenas worldwide including six of the top 20 for the first quarter of 2015, compiled by the well-respected concert and venue industry publication Pollstar magazine.

AEG Facilities’ The O2 in London tops the list at #1, with more than 417,000 tickets sold in the first quarter of 2015 while Sprint Center (Kansas City, MO) ranked #6 in North America and #14 worldwide. The O2 has led the rankings every year since it opened in 2007 while The SSE Hydro (Glasgow, UK) ranked #6, O2 World Hamburg (Hamburg, Germany) ranked #7 and O2 World (Berlin, Germany) came in #10, giving AEG Facilities four venues in the top ten worldwide.
