AEG’s Danielle Snyder, senior vice president of guest services and security at STAPLES Center, has been named an honoree of SportsBusiness Journal’s 2021 Game Changers “Women in Sports Business.”
SportsBusiness Journal (SBJ) first launched its Game Changers: Women in Sports Business series in 2011 to recognize and amplify the stories of women serving as leaders in the sports industry. Since then, SBJ has recognized more than 400 women who have paved the way and made lasting impact in the sports industry for generations to come.
“I am truly honored and humbled to be an honoree of the Sports Business Journal’s 2021 Game Changers. They are the leader in covering our industry and I am so proud to be a part of the incredible group of women industry leaders,” said Dannielle Snyder, senior vice president of guest services and security, STAPLES Center.
A seasoned sports and live events professional with more than 20 years of experience, Danielle Snyder oversees the guest services and security management teams, which includes more than 1,000 event team members, and is responsible for the safety and security strategy, overall guest experience and leadership and service training programs at STAPLES Center.

In 2011, she created and implemented the ENCORE|LA: The Guest Experience, a service-based training program for all team members and executive leaders at STAPLES Center, Microsoft Theater (formerly Nokia Theatre) and L.A. LIVE, to reinforce the AEG mission of “giving the world reason to cheer.”

Prior to joining STAPLES Center, Snyder worked for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Honorees were recognized at the SBJ’s Game Changers: Women in Sports Business Conference held in New York on Oct. 20, 2021. The event featured networking and speakers addressing leadership in the workplace, mentoring and the business case for DE&I.
