VENANCIO DE CASTRO JOINS AEG FACILITIES IN BRASIL

AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Los Angeles, CA (February 17, 2015) Brazilian business executive, Venancio de Castro has been named as the Executive Director for AEG Brasil, it was announced today by Chuck Steedman, Chief Operating Officer, AEG Facilities. In the newly created position, de Castro will be responsible for the day-to-day management of AEG Brasil’s corporate staff and office in São Paulo, as well as overseeing AEG Facilities’ venue operations at Itaipava Arena Pernambuco (Recife, PE, Brasil), Maracanã Complex (Rio de Janeiro, RJ, Brasil) and Allianz Parque (São Paulo, SP, Brasil).

de Castro, who most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer for AIG Seguros Brasil SA, will additionally manage all of AEG Facilities’ business operations in Brasil’s, as well as work on identifying future business opportunities throughout Brasil and South America.

Prior to joining AEG Brasil and working at AIG, de Castro served as Vice President of Consumer Products with MasterCard and has held a number of positions in the financial services sector in both the US and Brasil. de Castro holds an MBA from the Thunderbird School of International Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola University in Chicago, IL.
