AEG Facilities Opens New York Office

RICHARD KREZWICK APPOINTED SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT TO LEAD REGION’S OPERATIONS

Los Angeles, CA & New York, NY (January 23, 2018) With an increasing presence on the East Coast and an expanding footprint world-wide, AEG Facilities has opened a New York office to support the company’s rapidly growing venue management and services business. Richard Krezwick, a long-time AEG executive and respected industry veteran, has been named Senior Vice President and will lead the new office, it was announced by Bob Newman, President, AEG Facilities.

In his role, Krezwick, who will relocate from AEG’s London office where he oversaw European arena and stadium operations, will head AEG Facilities’ Manhattan office and oversee East Coast operations, business development, marketing, and content development for AEG Facilities’ venues within the region while continuing his oversight of AEG Facilities European venues.

“Rich has done an outstanding job with our facilities in Europe so when we took a strategic look at how we further strengthen our infrastructure and continue to deliver positive results for our partners, it was obvious that opening an east coast office with Rich at the helm was the answer,” said Bob Newman, President, AEG Facilities. “We are fortunate to have an industry veteran like Rich on our team.”

Krezwick, a leading executive in sports, entertainment, and facility management, originally joined AEG in 2006 and spent three years with the company before leaving, then returning in May of 2014.  Upon his return, Krezwick was based in London and was responsible for more than a dozen AEG-affiliated arenas and stadiums in London, Berlin, Hamburg, Stockholm and other European cities. His extensive venues background began over three decades ago with SMG where he held numerous positions over a 12-year stint before spending 10 years with Delaware North as TD Garden President & CEO and Executive Vice President for the Boston Bruins.   He also spent four years as the President of Devils Arena Entertainment for the New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center.

“I am thrilled and extremely thankful to be returning to the U.S. with AEG after four amazing years with AEG Europe,” said Krezwick. “The unique aspects of each facility and each market was magnified during my international experience, something I know will help me while working with our co-workers and valued partners.
