AEG Facilities Appoints Rob Hampton as General Manager of the Palm Springs Convention Center

AEG Facilities to Lead Tourism and Management Services for Palm Springs Convention Center, Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism, Palm Springs Visitor Center and Welwood Memorial Library

LOS ANGELES & PALM SPRINGS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--AEG Facilities, a stand-alone division of AEG, the world’s leading sports, venue and live entertainment company, announced today that the company has appointed Rob Hampton as General Manager of the Palm Springs Convention Center. Additionally, Hampton and his team will oversee venue management operations for the Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism, the Palm Springs Visitor Center and the Welwood Murray Memorial Library.

Under the terms of the agreement, AEG Facilities will oversee the day-to-day management of the Palm Springs venues, providing such services as facility operations, event programming and content development, purchasing, vendor services, advertising and marketing. The company also will implement its industry-leading proprietary programs AEG S.A.F.E., AEG 1Source, AEG 1EARTH, AEG 1Force, AEG Encore and AEG Energy Services.

Additionally, AEG Facilities will manage the Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism to promote the City of Palm Springs. The company will develop and execute marketing plans that generate positive awareness of the City as a destination for leisure travelers and improve the Palm Springs Visitor Center.
