The Role

Our new Associate Onsales Manager under the guidance of Onsales Leadership is responsible for ensuring seamless queue management, system performance monitoring, and collaboration with support teams toward successful presales and onsales while maintaining system integrity. This is a starter role within the onsales team.

What Will You Do?

  • Under the guidance of Onsales Leadership, manage all onsales in queue by manipulating outflows to drain all queues in the most optimum timeline based on system performance
  • Ensure waiting rooms are correctly configured
  • Using a variety of monitoring tools, monitor system and application performance during onsales/presales. Take appropriate action to prevent an incident and when required create an incident when one occurs or is about to occur. Report any odd behavior to the appropriate engineering team
  • Perform all tasks associated with high demand onsales under the guidance of Onsales Leadership as needed. This includes coordination, set up, and running of prep calls from start all the way through to presale and onsales calls. And with the support and guidance of more senior onsales team members/leadership work with support teams to deliver successful onsales.
  • Be part of a global support team that will support all onsales globally 24/7/365
  • Perform daily analytics to gauge which events are going to be busy the next day but also the whole week and so will require queue management to be enabled or additional support
  • Report bugs which could impact onsales using the appropriate Jira project
  • Produce daily reports, weekly, and monthly reports to inform stakeholders (including executives) on key performance indicators and create any additional documentation as needed.
  • Use a wide range of our tools sets to work independently Jira, confluence, opsGenie and perform performance based analytics, as well as build dashboards using log aggregation tools like Sumologic
  • Ensure seamless on-sale operations, effective escalations, timely decisions based on available data, rapid analytics and intuition

 

What Will You Bring?

  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) In an IT or technical field preferred but not required
  • Experience working in a high-demand e-commerce environment preferred
  • Basic understanding of e-commerce operations either working in an operational nature or facilitating problem solving preferred
  • Ability to diagnose based on the data available and determine the best course of action calmly and effectively
  • Ability to multitask effectively and work independently
  • Must be adept at quickly adapting and implementing new processes and procedures when asked or required.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools preferred in order to assess system and application performance, with the ability to detect and respond to performance issues proactively.
  • Experience with using tools like Jira, Jira Service Desk, Confluence, Datadog, preferred
  • Ability to command support calls even in high-pressure situations, showcasing the ability to maintain control and ensure successful call outcomes.
  • Ticketing industry Knowledge a plus

Pay Scale: $32.54 - $40.67

Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
