Job Summary
The Endpoint Engineer will be focused on collaboratively supporting planning, maintaining, and implementing AEG's Endpoint Infrastructure standards pertaining to various endpoints, mainly Windows and macOS devices, and mobile devices such as iPhones, Androids, and tablets. The Incumbent will collaborate and work with several team members, project managers, and leadership to focus on supporting and maintaining the AEG device management environment while working with various teams to ensure that all initiatives are completed successfully and on-time. Assist with furthering AEG's asset management framework to assure compliance of device standards and policies.
Essential Functions

- Maintain responsibility for the configuration of Mac and Windows endpoint management systems, including but not limited to software installation, software updates, OS patching, firmware update, antivirus/antimalware requiring moderate design elements.
- Work with Global Technology leadership to define and maintain Asset Management and Life Cycle standards of the endpoint hardware.
- Responsible for configuring, implementing, and maintaining hardware and device management standards for AEG’s Microsoft, Apple, and Android devices, including macOS Ios/iPadOS, that support the organizational security policies. Create technical and standard operating procedure documentation.
- Develop and maintain modernized servicing plans that ensure clients are kept current on OS, Driver, Patch, Firmware and Security requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex application and hardware issues; act as final escalation point to IT Service Desk, including documentation, analysis, and resolution of escalated issues, providing high-quality solutions to IT problems quickly.
- Work closely with various Global Technology team members on initiatives and service deployments with a focus on Validation and Testing, Release/Deployment Management, Change Management, Service Asset, Configuration Management and Knowledge Management.
- Administer software distribution and application management, desktop security, remote support tools, and other enterprise desktop management, monitoring, and troubleshooting utilities.
- Craft reports that provide insight and analysis of desktop software license usage, software and hardware compliance, operating systems, and hosted application software distribution.
- Establish and maintain a Continual Service Improvement culture through various Research and Development initiatives.
Required Qualifications

- BA/BS Degree (4-year) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information System, or a related area
- 4+ years extensive experience of Intune as a modern unified endpoint management platform, with significant experience in the Autopilot enrollment, management, and configuration of Windows and Android devices.
- 4+ experience with the following: IT Service Management, Problem Management, Incident Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, project management, M&A activity, and partnering with sourcing companies.
- 4+ years understanding of Jamf as an MDM platform. Experience in the enrollment, management, and configuration of macOS, iOS, and iPadOS devices.
- Experience with change/release management process in an enterprise environment.
- 4+ years’ experience working with enterprise infrastructure complexities and requirements across a global scale, including cloud and on-premises systems, hybrid identities, printing services.
- In-depth experience with packaging and deployment strategies, operating system standards and delivery, Microsoft Technology expertise (such as Azure, Universal Print, Microsoft Teams devices), Third Party Management Products and Enterprise Security Suites.
- Experience with Microsoft services such as Microsoft 365. Active Directory, Windows Server, Azure, Entra ID, Universal Print, etc.
- Experience with handling tier 3 escalations related to back-end Endpoint troubleshooting and management tasks.
- Experience with source code and version control management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, service, and technical challenges and provide solutions.
- Expertise in deploying and managing large fleets of Windows and Macs with a strong understanding of network configurations, security protocols, and troubleshooting practices in large-scale environments.
- Foundational knowledge of the ITIL framework, and IT Service Management.
- Solid foundational understanding of networking and core Internet Protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and routing in distributed networks.
- Proficient in PowerShell and Apple Script/Bash scripting for IT automation tasks.
- Good understanding of hybrid identity management pertaining to Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory, including Privileged Identity Management, Entra ID Azure AD Enterprise Applications, App Registrations, Azure Conditional Access and Azure App Proxy design and configuration. Experience with multi-tenant configurations and B2C directories.
- Excellent communication skills, highly-collaborative, team player.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to learn required business systems.
- Organized and detail oriented
- Self-starter who demonstrates leadership skills and takes initiative with minimum supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across multiple organizations, Regions, Sectors and teams.
- Ability to document procedures and establish operational guidelines for device support technicians; serve as a subject matter expert for escalated technical issues or complex use cases.
- Jamf 300/400 or Certified Casper Administrator a plus but not required if equivalent experience is given.
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate a plus but not required if equivalent experience is given.
Pay Scale: $120,000 - $150,000
Bonus: This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
