Job Summary
The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Program Manager will be responsible for developing, managing and executing DE&I programs, DE&I hosted events and civic activities for AEG. The incumbent will manage and oversee the development and management of the Company's Employee Network Groups (ENGs) across the United States with a special emphasis on Evolving the ENGs to become Business Resource Groups to better connect DEI to the business.
 
Essential Functions
  • Employee Network Groups
    • Evolving the ENGs to become Business Resource Groups to better connect DEI to the business.
    • Establish meeting cadence for ENGs/BRGs to present their business plans to CHRO and CEAOs. 
    • Provide consultation to ENGs/BRGs in developing their annual business plans. 
    • Establish meeting cadence for ENGs/BRGs to present their business plans to CHRO and CEAOs.
    • Manage activities for all U.S.-based ENGs as related to the DEI Roadmap and corporate DEI strategy: Professional Development, Networking, Community Outreach, growing membership body. 
    • Grow ENGs beyond greater LA area to include chapters across the U.S. Regions
    • Update the ENG Playbook to keep it current. Coach all ENG leaders and members on the content and how to leverage it.
    • Collaborate with ENGs support their DEI initiatives and employee volunteer opportunities
    • Lead and educate the ENGs executive sponsors on their role • Continue to evolve ENGs to become Business Resource Groups

  • DEI Consultation
    • Partner with key stakeholder departments such as Employee Engagement, Employee Services and Community on key projects that support building a sense of Belonging for all employees and support the DEI Roadmap objectives.
    • Attend DEI conferences, seminars and workshops to stay abreast on leading practices.
    • Remain relevant on best practices and recommended strategies for continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and improvement to our overall DEI Roadmap efforts.
    • Assist in organizing and developing annual reports.
    • Provide subject matter expertise to clients across the company.
    • Deliver on-going DEI education to the business.

  • Diversity Recruitment and Internships 
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition with diversity recruiting processes. 
    • Provide back-up to TA team on administration of tracking company progress on diversity recruiting.

  • External DEI Reputation 
    • Attend DEI conferences, seminars and workshops to stay abreast on leading practices.
    • Seek out speaking engagements for AEG executives and ENG leaders to support company’s external commitment to DEI (corporate diversity and supplier diversity). 

  • Ad hoc administrative duties, as needed
    • Process invoices for the DEI department
    • Assist in organizing and developing annual report.
Qualifications
  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Communication, Organization Development or a related area is preferred
  • 4-6 years Related work experience; experience in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and/or Human Resources is required 
  • Prior knowledge and experience with managing global ENG/BRG is required
  • Experience establishing and managing chapters of ENGs/BRGs outside of HQ location
  • Experience in designing and delivering DEI education to all levels of the organization
  • Comfort in leading large and small group meetings
  • Exceptional written, verbal and listening communication skills
  • Comfort with interacting with all levels of the organization
  • Computer savvy with knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and other MS Office tools
  • Must be detail orientated with a high standard for quality
  • Love of Sports and Music Industry, a definite plus
  • Bilingual fluency in any language (written and verbal) is preferred
  • Certification in DEI preferred

Payscale: $80,000 - $90,000

AEG reserves the right to change or modify the employee’s job description whether orally or in writing, at any time during the employment relationship.  AEG may require an employee to perform duties outside their normal description.
