Gila River Arena Partners with City of Glendale’s Parks Maintenance Division to Celebrate Earth Day

More than 20 AEG Facilities employees from Gila River Arena spent the day cleaning local parks in the Glendale, Ariz. Community

In Celebration of Earth Day today, more than 20 AEG Facilities employees at Gila River Arena in Glendale, Ariz. spent the day cleaning and picking up trash at Grand Canal Linear Park and Glendale Heroes Regional Park. 

Employees walked more than six and half miles on the trails that connect the two parks located just blocks from the arena collecting more than 40 bags of trash. 

The park cleanup was in conjunction with AEG 1EARTH, AEG’s industry-leading sustainability program to manage and reduce the company’s environmental impact.
