AEG Presents Enters into Exclusive Booking Deal with The Bomb Factory and Canton Hall in Dallas, Texas

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- AEG Presents , together with venue owners Clint and Whitney Barlow, announced today an exclusive booking agreement for The Bomb Factory and Canton Hall , two premier concert venues in the Deep Ellum area of Dallas, Texas.

The arrangement expands AEG Presents’ relationship with The Bomb Factory and Canton Hall and is a natural fit, as AEG Presents has booked and promoted such world class performers as Beach House, Bon Iver, Death Cab For Cutie, Disclosure, Jack White, LCD Soundsystem, Robert Plant, Slayer, Sturgill Simpson and many more at The Bomb Factory since the Barlows reopened the venue in March 2015. The agreement allows The Bomb Factory and Canton Hall to stay true to their established culture and provides the support and investment to continue to drive growth and innovation and expands the venues’ presence in the market.

A renowned venue in Dallas with a long history, The Bomb Factory has hosted iconic acts such as The Ramones, Phish, Rage Against The Machine, Black Sabbath, Tool, Motorhead, Nine Inch Nails, Dave Matthews Band and was the site for the first run of The Vans Warped Tour in 1995. In November 2013, 15 years after the doors of The Bomb Factory closed, the Barlows announced they had plans to resurrect the venue and undertook a multimillion-dollar renovation that included a completely new layout, look and feel, as well as state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems. The Bomb Factory, with a capacity of 4300, opened to sold out crowds and has injected new life into Deep Ellum as a Dallas hot spot for live music.

Located next door to The Bomb Factory, Canton Hall was once known as Deep Ellum Live, and has hosted legendary performances by The Cure, Weezer, Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins and more. Opening its doors in October 2017 and also featuring a complete overhaul, the venue serves as the perfect complement to The Bomb Factory with a capacity of 1,100.
