• On August 14-16, 2009 the Nike 3on3 Basketball Tournament debuted on Nokia Plaza at L.A. LIVE
• Over 500 teams participated during the inaugural weekend which drew over 13,000 players and spectators
• The campus featured over 40 courts along Nokia Plaza, Chick Hearn Ct. and the L.A. LIVE Event Deck with the "Nike Elite Court" and grandstands located in the center of Nokia Plaza L.A. LIVE
• The event featured additional attractions such as free concerts on the POWERADE Main Stage, 22 vendor booths, celebrity appearances, slam dunk contests, mascot games and more
