Atlanta’s Newest Venue, THE EASTERN, Announces Inaugural Lineup

Doors to Open September 1, 2021

ATLANTA (May 11, 2021) -  The most anticipated Atlanta nightlife opening of 2021, The Eastern, will begin welcoming live music fans on September 1, 2021 with Atlanta’s own, Big Boi.  The 37,000 square foot venue, is located in the historic Reynoldstown neighborhood within The Atlanta Dairies development at 800 Old Flat Shoals Rd SE, conveniently located steps off of the Atlanta Beltline.

The Eastern was initially conceived in 2016 by Zero Mile founders Scott Orvold and Alan Sher, with ground-breaking taking place three years later, in the fall of 2019. The Eastern will feature a multi-level main performance room as well as a rooftop performance space, bar & restaurant, with a total combined capacity of 2,300. Since its founding in 2016, Zero Mile has established and positioned itself as one of the country’s most diverse, well respected and successful concert promotion firms. Scott Orvold stated “Providing the right environment for live entertainment is and always had been the core of our ethos. With The Eastern, we’ve created a world-class and a game-changing space for the concert experience, for both artists and the audience.” Fans have regularly enjoyed both up-and-coming as well as established acts across all genres at venues such as Athens’ Georgia Theatre, Atlanta’s Terminal West, and Variety Playhouse, and larger venues and arenas in the Southeast.

The Eastern is coming to life with a strategic partnership between Zero Mile and concert industry leader, AEG Presents.
