AEG’s ASCSC Community Foundation and LA Galaxy Foundation Host 16th Annual Thanksgiving Foundations’ Feast

AEG employees served more than 200 Thanksgiving meals to local children and families at Dignity Health Sports Park’s American Express Stadium Club in Carson, Calif. 

AEG’s ASCSC Community Foundation and the LA Galaxy Foundation recently hosted the 16th Annual Thanksgiving Foundations’ Feast at Dignity Health Sports Park’s American Express Club on Friday, Nov. 22. 

During the event, LA Galaxy players and AEG staff from the LA Galaxy and Dignity Health Sports Park served complete Thanksgiving meals to 250 local children and families in need from neighboring organizations including Children’s Institute, Los Angeles Children and Family Services, The Salvation Army Red Shield, Koinonia Family Services and El Nido Family Services. 

An annual Thanksgiving tradition at Dignity Health Sports Park since 2003, the event also featured arts and crafts, activities and gift bags. 

This year’s Thanksgiving Foundations’ Feast was made possible by donations from the LA Galaxy, Dignity Health Sports Park, XFL LA Wildcats, Levy Restaurants, Coca-Cola, Bristol Farms, Marie Callender's, Melissa’s Produce, West Coast Prime Meats, The Ralphs Grocery Co. and LAUSD Homeless Education Program.

The ASCSC Community Foundation will also partner with Food Finders to host a Food Drive for national “Giving Tuesday” and the US Marines Toys for Tots to host the annual Toy Drive. Non-perishables, toiletries, and toys will be collected in the Dignity Health Sports Park lobby starting “Giving Tuesday” December 3 through December 17 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. PT.
