AEG Employees Serve Breakfast to 1,200 Community Members at Union Rescue Mission in Los Angeles

In celebration of AEG’s annual Season of Giving, the company’s charitable holiday initiative that encourages its employees throughout the world to engage in charitable activities in their local communities, STAPLES Center’s Premium Seating employees prepared and served breakfast to 1,200 homeless community members at Union Rescue Mission in Los Angeles on Friday, Nov. 22.

Preparing and serving breakfast at Union Rescue Mission in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving has been an annual team tradition for the Premium Seating employees for the past seven years under the leadership of Michele Kajiwara, Senior Vice President of Premium Sales & Services, AEG.

“While we may work in delivering premium services at STAPLES Center, serving our community and building the community within our department is of paramount importance,” said Kajiwara. “Through AEG’s volunteer opportunities with community partners, we are able to make a direct impact to those in need – and there’s no greater feeling than giving our local communities reason to cheer.”

Union Rescue Mission located in downtown Los Angeles is one of the largest missions of its kind in America that brings help and hope to men, women, and children experiencing homelessness. For more on Union Rescue Mission, click here.

AEG and the AEG Community Foundation recently kicked off the company’s annual Season of Giving with the 2019 #SpreadCheer Challenge, a social media campaign that will provide three charities – Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Playworks and Special Olympics USA – with an opportunity to earn $25,000 from the AEG Community Foundation.
