Since opening in October 1999, STAPLES Center has established itself as the sports and entertainment center of the world. It is home to four professional sports franchises -- The NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers, the NHL’s LA Kings and the WNBA’s Los Angeles Sparks -- and annually hosts over 250 high profile national and international events such as NBA All-Star Games, NHL All-Star Games, World Figure Skating Championships, WWE, Disney on Ice and the last 16 GRAMMY® Award Shows.
STAPLES Center is also a premier destination for concerts and has featured performances by some of the world’s most renowned artists including Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, U2, Prince, Paul McCartney, Garth Books, Ed Sheeran, JAY Z, Kanye West, Adele, Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry and Justin Bieber, among others.
