Environmental TipsCommitment to reducing the environmental impact of AEG Expo

As part of AEG 1EARTH, AEG is committed to reducing the environmental impact of AEG EXPO 2012. We will be working with the venue managers, caterers and other service providers to enlist environmentally friendly products and services. We ask you to join us in doing the same.

Please help us achieve the following AEG EXPO 2012 Environmental Objectives:

Energy and Climate

  • Reduce the energy consumption of the event by using energy efficient lighting and using less electrical appliances in tradeshow booths
  • Reduce carbon footprint of event by carpool and rideshares to and from airport and other AEG EXPO events

Recycling and Waste Diversion

  • Reduce waste by asking our vendors to reduce the packaging on products used for AEG EXPO Tradeshow
  • Increase recycling by selecting banners, signage, promotional products that are recyclable after use
  • Encourage reuse by selecting decoration and display items that can be reused or donated at end of AEG EXPO

Water Conservation

  • Print all collateral on recycled paper stock, using vegetable based inks (yes, this saves water!)

Sustainable Purchasing

  • Print all collateral on recycled paper stock, using vegetable based inks
  • Create signage that can be reused (list AEG EXPO without the date) and select recycled content material or recyclable material
  • Give away eco-friendly promotional products

Education

  • Promote your environmental initiatives and success stories by featuring them in your tradeshow booth
