Since attending the Bobby Charlton
Soccer School as a boy, David Beckham
has become world renowned as a professional
footballer, and is captain of the English
National Team. The David Beckham Academy
is the realization of a dream to give
back and create similar opportunities
for children around the world.

By the end of 2005, The David Beckham Academy
will have launched locations in London,
alongside the O2, and Los
Angeles as part of The Home Depot Center.

The UK facility will feature two full size
indoor pitches and an extensive pavilion
with state-of-the-art classrooms, dinner
hall and changing rooms. Using the most
advanced technology, the Academy will
provide a fun and interactive instructional
experience for children unlike any in
football.
